CPES' Thomas Lipo Elected to NAE

Dr. Thomas Lipo, Grainger Professor of Power Electronics and Electrical Machines at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Campus Director in the Center for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) at Virginia Tech, has just been elected to the National Academy of Engineering "for contributions to the design and development of variable-speed drives and motor controls."
