VaNTH ERC for Bioengineering Educational Technologies Instructional Modules Seen As Exemplars The Vanderbilt-Northwestern-Texas-Harvard/MIT (VaNTH) ERC for Bioengineering Educational Technologies has developed and sustained an outstanding education and outreach program that benefits from strong leadership, strong outreach contributions from an excellent and enthusiastic Student Leadership Council, excellent instructional materials, and effective outreach programs. This is reflected by national recognition of VaNTH's secondary-level instructional modules, "VaNTH Instruction in Bioengineering Education in Secondary Science." These modules are now recognized by the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) as exemplars for implementing standards-based science education and are published as Chapter 5 in the NSTA Press publication Exemplary Science in Grades 9-12—Standards-Based Success Stories.
